This roulette system is ideal for even-money bets. This is commonly used by roulette lovers in almost all casinos in the world. So, how does this system work?

Using the system, you would start off by placing your standard bet of, for instance, $10. In an even-money wager, you basically make the same bet every time you win a hand. The twist in this system is that you would double this wager every time you lose a hand. So, how does this win you money? The theory is that when you finally gain a winning hand after you have had a series of losses, you get the chance to win $10 on your next hand. So, basically, you get to increase your winnings by $10 every time you win regardless of the series of losses.

The Drawback to the Martingale Roulette System

The theory is that you will come out ahead every time you double your wager. In reality, however, you cannot always afford to do this. At some point, you will run out of funds or you would hesitate to double your wager. However, the system works as a progressive chain and the roulette player makes the decision on how long he or she wants the chain to be. Usually, a player can maintain the chain up to eight wagers. The belief is that you cannot possibly lose more than nine times in a row. The truth, however, is that you can lose more than ten times in a row. You will be coughing up twice the amount of your initial bet. At some point, you will not be able to afford the wager or even if you could, it may have exceeded the minimum wager limits. So, this is the drawback to the Martingale Roulette system. You can go broke if you are not careful when using the system.

The Martingale Roulette system is generally an old system and it is used by many roulette players. If you are considering using the system, you have to remember that it works only for a short duration. You should reconsider using this system if you intend to play for a longer duration. You would likely lose more money if you continuously double your bets despite your losing streak.
